Issuance of Trade License for Hotel

In Chhattisgarh, hotel operators can obtain a trade license through the Sewa Setu Portal. This service provides legal permission to operate a hotel business and ensures compliance with all relevant government regulations.

Eligible applicants include hotel owners or their authorized representatives. Applications can be submitted online through the Sewa Setu Portal or offline at the respective Municipal Corporation/Local Body offices and Lok Seva Kendras.

Applicants must also submit supporting documents, after submission, an Application Reference Number (ARN) is generated to track the application status. The concerned authority verifies the documents and issues the trade license within the prescribed timeline, usually within 15 working days. Applicants are notified once the license is issued. The license is legally valid and required for hotel operations, tax compliance, and other official purposes.annually.
